We are looking to hire an experienced Logistics and QC Associate for our Melbourne office. You will be responsible for managing all incoming and outgoing shipments to and from the office.
The main goal is to ensure that diamonds come in and out of the Antwerp office in the shortest delay, while ensuring that all diamonds are up to quality standards

What you'll do
- QC, repack and send orders along to the next destination while updating the Nivoda system (20%)
- Hand deliver diamonds to local customers when necessary (10%)
- Collect diamonds from local suppliers, perform quality check and package and ship to the next destination (10%)
- Create shipments using the Nivoda platform and send labels to suppliers to ensure timely delivery (20%)
- Receive consolidated shipments via Brinks, UPS, FedEx, … (5%)
- Mark orders as received in the Nivoda system (5%)
- Liaise with suppliers for shipments and forward invoices to the finance department (5%)
- Assist customer support with queries related to shipping, order updates and urgent delivery requests (5%)
- Assist in the smooth overall operation of the office (5%)
- Support in managing the administrative work related to the office (5%)
- Follow up with Brinks, FedEx etc. for any shipment delays (4%)
- Process returned diamond from our customers (1%)
- Assist and advise other team members and management on the continuous improvement of all the processes of the local office (5%)
What you'll need
- Must have 2 years of diamond quality control experience.
- Must have experience stock control of high value products.
- Must have 2 years of logistics experience. Familiar with FedEx, UPS, Brinks and tracking systems.
- Attention to detail is a must
- Honesty, professionalism and integrity are essential
